  • Ask for a speed test screenshot from the host: A quick screenshot from a site like Speedtest.net can tell you the download and upload speeds, helping you determine if the internet is suitable for video calls or large file uploads.
  • Check recent reviews for mentions of internet performance: Other travelers often leave comments about the quality of the Wi-Fi, especially digital nomads who rely on it.
  • Clarify if the internet is shared with other units: Shared connections may slow down during peak hours if multiple users are online at once.
  • Confirm router placement if you’re booking a larger furnished apartments Athens: A weak signal in the bedroom can be frustrating if you plan to work from there.
  • Inquire about data limits: Some studios in Αthens may have capped monthly data, especially in older buildings or less central areas. This could impact streaming or daily work tasks.

Manolis is really responsive and nice! Some equipment was missing but she managed to bring it to us very quickly. Easy to go to the center with bus and metro. Nice typical restaurant around. Nice apartment for two people.

We loved our stay here, polite and responsive hosts who were helpful even with our super late check in. There’s no elevator that goes up to the 5th floor but the hosts had messaged to warn us earlier that the elevator only goes up to floor number 4 and we would have to carry our bags to floor 5 – really wasn’t a big deal at all, small amount of steps. Beautiful view from courtyard.
